But he recently decided to de-committ from Gonzaga to sign with NBA G League Ignite, a California-based developmental team created last year to provide elite prospects an alternartive to college basketball. Chinese fans hope the 6-foot-11 forward can become the next Yao Ming, who Zeng says he idolized while growing up in China.Both of Zeng's parents were professional basketball players in China.This isn't Zeng's first time in the US.
